The Tucson AquaPonics Project - www.TucsonAP.org - has been created to bring community-scale aquaponics to the greater Tucson metro area, as well as support backyard aquaponics, by providing training, resources and assembling a network of people who can help each other to successfully implement both private and non-profit aquaponics systems.

Sustainability is a seriously broad subject, but it is what most are really aiming for in life.  Otherwise you just have to keep doing it over and over with no assurance of success.  Let's take relationships as an example.  How many times do we fall in love only to have the relationship fail, again and again?  Or how can we continue living on a planet that believes we have unlimited cheap oil, food, and fresh water? Our group meets bi-monthly to discuss, create, and implement significantly new ideas about sustainable entrepreneurial projects. Our goal is to discuss what needs to be done to create businesses of the future. All students welcomed.

We avoid the use of deleterious materials in our relationship with the Earth. We encourage the use of nature's resources as a guide for sustainable living. We help newcomers to become knowledgable and skilled in organic gardening, including composting and seed preservation.
